Exam Requirement
The following is recommended for those who aim to take the DASSM training exam:
The exam fee for one exam attempt is included in the cost of the training workshop.
For DASM, students have 60 days to take the exam online after completing the training. Certification is granted after you pass the exam.
For DASSM, students have 12 months to take the exam online after completing the training. Certification is granted after you pass the exam.
Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master (DASSM) teaches experienced agile practitioners how to use the Disciplined Agile (DA™) tool kit to optimize how teams work, work with allies within their organization, and solve a variety of advanced problems.
Students have 60 days from the time they receive the exam link to take the exam, and they may retake it two more times within that 60-day period if they do not pass the first attempt. If a student does not pass and would like to sit for the exam again, they should go to their myPMI dashboard to pay the retake fee. Upon payment, they can access the link to retake the exam.
Candidates can take the exam up to three times. If they have not passed after the third attempt, they must re-take the training course.
The DASSM exam is administered through Pearson VUE. The exam is an online, non-proctored test including 50 multiple-choice questions. The total exam appointment is 120 minutes—30 minutes for the introduction, tutorial, and survey and up to 90 minutes for completing the exam.
I found Trainer to be very knowledgable on IT systems, Project Management methods, Lean and Agile concepts. Most of all though, he was a top class facilitator and both engaging and passionate with the subject matter. I would welcome the opportunity to work with him again.
